spy ring has been busted some years ago, they virtually rely on spy sat, open source info, even rumor mongers. SSN sunk off sea, weather balloon, water in ICBM, silo lids that can't be open because it won't work etc. The list will grow. And they try to pin the anti corruption drive as Xi's purge of opposition, disregarding many people purged weren't tied to any faction at all. Typical make up story due to lack of intelligence.
