..Columbia class will now return to 16 launch tubes and the USN has no problems with basing/tech  etc and PLAN's  SSBN'S with12  launch tubes with advanced MIRVs is no minor factor and a force to be reckoned with.by any foe.Also a smaller sub is easier tio quiet and maintain and maybe later with Taiwan reunited the eastern side of TW can have a large naval base like Sanya in Hainan.with larger SSBN's but an advanced  future 09X can still have 12 tubes and be very potent.
