Nobody seem to talk about it, or talk about it as if it is a separate issue from EV market. In my country, government is focusing on bringing in EV manufacturing and battery manufacturing to the country. But nobody talk about investment in charging infrastructure, as if it will happen automatically once they build and sell the EVs. There is a state owned oil company that have almost monopoly of the gas station here, then there is a state owned electricity company here, none of them are talking about building EV charging station, they probably not even sure which of them have the responsibility of building the charging infrastructure. Clearly both also don't want to give up their interest. Funnily, the electric company here actually invested in building several prototype hydrogen fuel station. Seem like not to eager on EV. This after all is a crappy state owned electric company that only achieved surplus of electricity in very recent years. If EV take off, the company might fall back to continous black out.
