America, Europe and Japan will put tariff on Chinese EV to protect their automotive industry. That is nothing China can do. What they will find it hard to do is to make other developing nations to put tariff on Chinese EV. China should focus on emerging markets. Let the old industrial nations focus defending themselves, and let them hide behind their turtle shells. China should take over developing markets from them while they are busy hiding inside their turtle shell. Once they lost the global market, they are finish. They won't even have revenue and capital to compete with Chinese companies. China shouldn't focus too much resources on breaking into their countries. Once China conquer the global market, nature will take its course, and their protectionism will crumble by itself. Just like what Mao did in civil war, took over the countryside while Chiang focused on defending the cities. Once Mao took over the countryside, Chiang's cities were cut off and finished.
