In phase 2, it'll expand from Bandung to Surabaya. I wonder will the phase 2 finish ahead of the Indian and Vietnam high speed rail projects. Though there seem to be indication problems in the phase 1 such as the cost overrun due to land acquisition delay, pandemic delay etc has to be resolved first.
