If it's safe to drink, just discharge it into Jap's lakes and reservoirs. Everybody will be happy isn't it. China has blocked import of Jap seafood. China and Russia suggested vaproization, but Jap rejected it as too costly at $238 mil compared to $23 mil discharging into the sea. Now Jap's seafood sales to China which accounted for 22% of its export, amounted to Yen 87,1 bil ($595 mil) annually. Another 19% of their seafood are exported to HK, which now ban import of Jap seafood from 10 prefectures. Not to mention they're willing to spend Yen 80 bil ($546 mil) on PR around the world. They could have easily taken an approach not only less costly overall (except maybe to TEP) but is satisfactory to all parties concerned, but no, they've to drag everyone down.

Jap's math: Discharge to sea Yen 3.4 bil + PR Yen 70 bil < vaporization Yen 34.9 bil.

Japan to spend JPY 80 bil on PR around the world.

Rad sea food, this is before the discharge. After the discharge, contamination will only get much worse.

Fishes like pacific saury with their habitat will be susceptible to contamination.
