Neocons are remnants of the cold war and instrumental in the numerous wars after the USSR collapsed.  This time there will be none of the goodwill and popularity of the American culture to help them.  That peaked in the 1990s.  Just imagine, this is the first time the petrodollar being challenged,  African countries not toeing the Western line, Saudi Arabia not siding with the US..etc..  Regime change by the US are being exposed in real time.
