It doesn't matter what China does or doesn't do, the whites will continue their propaganda, economic, and even military, hostility against China-- unless you are wiling to kneel down and kowtow to them, or cut off your own willy to please them.

The way that the whites react to Zhao tweets proves that Zhao DID hit them where it hurts them most. China needs more Zhao's. To quote LKY, DON'T try to be nice to everybody! China does NOT have to follow the white West in fighting this propaganda war-- Just as it did NOT follow the west's dictates in growing its economy and succeeded in doing so.
