1)His father the village chief asked all the villagers to convert to islam to save their one female per family (and if necessarily later migrate to india and revert back to their old religion )

2)Offer one male instead of one female per family to the muslim mob or 1 fresh as pearl young boy instead of 1 female houris (Veer Bahadur the narrator himself 17 yrs old then should've volunteered)
