I remembered it because I was in highschool at that time. But to be frank, not much we can do other than fight or flight when that happen. It is also a bit different this time. To be fair, the gov and many educated Indonesians are fighting racism against the Indonesian Chinese. Many racist attacks against Indonesian Chinese are mostly done by the hardliner religious fanatics who oppose secular government. They are selling yellow peril threat to further their agenda of building a caliphate.
