After yourself as a business owner, adjusted your prices for the increased cost of gas, then when you go make your next order for supplies, you find out all your suppliers had to do the same thing, so your costs for supplies has all gone up too, along with the gas costs!

Why this answer is unknown at this point, other than cost will go up increasing prices which causes the cost to go up again, is that winter is coming, and there is not enough gas. When there is a shortage, well, guess what, the price goes up!

Seems to me that Uncle Vlad, a man who had worked for the state his entire life, understands business far better than any single politician in Germany.

Q: So how bad it is really for the European economy?

A: Since they are not talking about it too much in the mainstream media, it is probably a lot worst than we can imagine.

If a business is no longer viable due to increasing costs or less sales, then that business is not viable, and often in those cases the firm goes out of business. The point is to make money. If a business cannot do that, it dies.

This is a national crisis in Germany IMHO. Yet, the attitude seems like it is just a gas price problem, or business will adapt, or blame the evil Putin man.

The real danger for Germany, besides a potential very deep recession, is how much of industry can survive, or does de-industrialization happens?
