If they get affirmation from Whites, they will feel empowered to enact "White racism" on the Chinese people.  Chinese tend to be proud and very secure of who they are.  Their identity is very strong.  Even those that are generations removed from mainland China living in Southeast Asia and other countries.  In fact Southeast Asian Chinese are the caretaker of traditional Chinese culture as a lot of Chinese cultural practices were erased in China during the cultural revolution.

Indians have a strong identity too.  But it is based on a false foundation as there is no ONE Indian identity but rather many diverse identities.  I feel it was a British creation. That's one of the reason why they have insecurity issues and identity issues.
