your family if you don't buy my product.  I don't know why Xi's people seems to think that issuing Ultimatums is an effective tactic.  People outside china will all fall in line because China issued an ultimatum?  That's naive.  By issuing ultimatums, you have to be able to back it up.  How many ultimatums has China failed to back up?  Too many to count. The Taiwan ultimatum is one that will be very diificult for Xi to back out from.  Level head officials in both China and Taiwan should work together to find a way where both sides can come out of this peacefully.
