The PLAAF intercepts Pelosi's plane, and takes pictures, of the plane and all its US fighters escorting it.

That will be a propaganda stunning victory for China.

The United States, even if it is warned, will still insist, and bring all of the American military to enforce its way.

That will trigger a lot of countries in this world, and push the wrong buttons.

The US China competition is not local, it is global. It is world opinion. The opinions of developing nations matter, many who have signed up to the BRI initiative.

For the United States to believe that flying military jets towards another nation's border, will win hearts and minds, that is simply remarkable. The lackeys will be happy. Beyond that, no way José!

Read a story in the news today, the US press briefing had the White House spoke person trying to play down the hostilities.

The Chinese are saying, "We don't want you to fly into our territory." The Americans then bring out weapons, and today they are talking about how China should be lowering the hostility.

So maybe, all this tough talk from the PRC about doing something against Pelosi's plane, was a reverse goading effort, to make the Americans look like the invading ugly American that will seek military solutions always when it does not gets its way.

Seems like such a propaganda victory would be a far better choice than to actually take action against her plane.

The Chinese will say to the world, "Look at these pictures. We are trying to be reasonable and did not shoot this plane down. The US will always resort to using its military when it does not get its way. This is the picture of American aggressiveness, that the world has seen too often."

Then the leadership can say to the Chinese unwashed masses, "We could have shot that plane down, but we did not want to start WW3." The unwashed masses will accept that.
