be carried on standard civilian boat davits. This would allow many civilian vessels to be rapidly converted into attack transports during wartime and land personnel and equipment on beaches without the need for port facilities. Bomberman earlier posted a pic of small speedboats carried in the hold of a fishing vessel, but in reality this would only be useful for SOF raids since the boats would take too much time to deploy en masse and have no bow ramp to unload equipment easily or carry vehicles. Landing craft would not have this issue and could also be used for short-range transport between individual Xisha/Nansha islands during peacetime. I don't know if PLAN's current LCVPs or the new small LCUs can be carried by civilian ships. Both seem to be very economically produced.
