UK seized properties and wonder why people are liquidating their investments in UK.  Venezuela stored its 2 billion dollar gold reserves in the Bank of England because of the bank's reputation.  It is seized and the UK supreme court is now deciding whether to return it to Maduro or Guaido.  HK tycoon Li Ka Shing quickly sold his holdings in UK at a huge discount after seeing how UK authorities handled Chelsea FC owned by Russian oligarch Abramovich. 

The West, the bastion of capitalism, free trade and property rights is now exposed as pirates or in their view, "privateers", state sanctioned piracy.

Basically,  the trust is gone.  Who wants to trade with the West on IOUs?  I would only trade if it is paid in my currency.  Not with opium and treasury bonds.
