Russian media is now like Chinese media, totally controlled by the state despite the pretense and the trappings of democracy. Western media bias represents for the most part the bias of individual journalists and to a lesser extent the bias of media companies. The bias of Western governments feature far less in media output than what you see in Chinese and Russia media. I have no doubt there are some CIA and MI6 shills placed inside places like CNN and BBC, but at least there is no direct control of media like what you see in China and Russia. So it's not even a close comparison, and we should not be deluding ourselves that there is some kind of moral equivalency between Western media and Chinese/Russian media.
