Then I do not remember that much of it.

The pandemic came, and with the lockdowns, the economic dislocation, and the people dying everywhere, hockey was just not that important anymore.

Still bet on the other sports, maybe that is one reason why I stopped the Maple Leafs. On occasion I would read an article about them from time to time.

This is a very good Maple Leafs team. Probably the best one in a couple of generations. They got top level talent up front, and finally they got some top 4 defense-man in the back.

If they beat Tampa, they could go all the way. Out of the eastern conference, there are some good teams too. The Leafs on paper, just have more talent. Now they got to prove it.

If they beat the champs, they proved they learned how to win.

Not sure when I would go back to watching the games.

Guess I will eventually. But I do not think I will ever return to before, when the team was good, and watch most of the games.

The pandemic did it for me.

It was hard to get excited about hockey, when all we could think of is trying to not sick, and just alive, and be in good health.
