From being a British colony to it current state, it has been a non-stop "Anglo is Right" gravy train from day one.  In a region with weak neighbouring states, Australia was able to shove its Anglo superiority down everyone's throats with impunity.

It enjoyed uninterrupted economic prosperity for decades  by providing resources to fuel China's growth.  It was only when China had outgrown its size, it is when Australia started to feel threatened.  Unable to reconcile with its view of its own "superiority" and its vulnerability, it dusted off the old "Yellow Peril" propaganda almost to the tee. I feel there is no need to give Australia an excuse to continue to control the narrative that China is bad and the West is good therefore it has the moral right to pressure its neighbours by any means. No reason to antagonize.  Just stop trading with Australia while bolstering the production capabilities of neighbouring countries, Africa and South America.  These countries understood what it is like to be under the thumb of colonial powers and post independence, Western controlled poverty and regime change.

A resource based country with only 25 million people, the same amount of people living the the Shanghai area, without China, Australia will slowly wither into a backwater prison colony it once was.
