What's clear is that the 054A will be less and less survivable in a war against the USN as time goes on; the key will be ASCM saturation defense which the 054A despite its ridiculous moniker of "mini-Aegis" will not be able to defend against compared to a Mogami or Akizuki with their fixed AESA X-band arrays, high VLS magazine size, and advanced combat data system.
