China need to promote the yuan as trade settlement with foreign countries as much as possible, that means China need to import more. China need to import more goods from abroad, and make Chinese market the biggest in the world. It will give China more geopolitical influence at the same time. China could also use the dollar reserves to finance welfare projects, like affordable public housing for every Chinese who don't have home.
