We can't expect Huawei to do R&D on every thing. China need to rally the business community to find alternative to US supply chain. I think China can get rid of Qualcomm in phones sold in China. I would rather China use mediatek than giving the money to Qualcomm. Sure, China might not get the best chips in the market, but at least China won't give fuel to Qualcomm to do R&D.
