It started off with her saying she was a bad girl, which we cannot be sure what that really meant. I only glanced at the entire post, but I remember that she was kind of upset, it was an affair over 3 years on and off, she had two kind of questions about what they did together as one time she say he force him upon her, (which at this point in time is she said he said), and that it seemed she was really upset that he won't respond to her or see her anymore when she tried to contact him.

The entire post seemed more like something she wanted to get off her chest, and talk about it, and not really a direct accusation of rape. The point of her post in my view was to not accuse someone of rape, but to talk about their relationship in the past, and her feelings at the moment.

This entire episode was really strange. Peng was a star on the tennis court, in her youth. Why fool around with an old man like that, 30 years older than herself? It still lasted 3 years. Then it was over.

The truth here is clear, that the truth is between Peng Shuai and Zhang Gaoli.

However, with the second issue, the truth is not really what American media and anti-China politicians are interested in.

They are just making the, "you are a wife beater" accusation or argument.

Here's another chance to say China is a wife beater, with the Peng story.

Now since Peng has come out and denied it, the Western media says this is forced, thereby this is more proof that the wife beating is still going on. They accuse China of being a wife beater again!

People, the media, the politician, will believe what they want to believe. Does not matter what the truth is at this stage of the game, LOL.

It is very interesting. It is just like when they killed Bin Laden. I never met a Pakistani who believed any of that story, lol.

Is this the post truth world?

Who knows. This story here is between a woman and a man who were lovers. The truth could be a little vague.

Others will view a truth to that Peng story. Even though we do not know for certain. It's still between Peng Shuai and Zhang Gaoli.

That attitude of that, "I know the truth," seems to have spread beyond just this realm of romantic relations, and into history (see S.Korea), science (see the pandemic), and even math (it's racist!)
