Just briefly translate a few points.

Tengyun is one of the reusable space transport aside from the VTVL, it is a HTHL TSTO. It completed a demonstration first flight in Jul 2021.

The space plane would use a combined cycle engine, which has successfully conducted technology test flight.

China has achieved many breakthrough in this field.

It will take off from airport horizontally and switch off its engine after reaching specific altitude. It will continue to ascend on momentum until reaching target altitude over a 100km before completing the sub-orbital flight and re-enter atmosphere. It will land horizontally on an air field.

The configuration has delta wing and tail fin, but no horizontal stabilizer. The two RBCC engine will be mounted on the wings.

Fuel tank and LO tank will be located at the front and aft section of the plane. In between is a payload section.

Rocket based combustion cycle engine will power the space plane. Composite material and heat resistant material will be widely used.

Aerodynamic control will be employed within atmosphere, conducting horizontal take off and landing. Reaction control system will be employed outside of atmosphere.

Advantage of the TSTO sub-orbital space plane include: 1. Take off landing on an ordinary airport; 2. Flexible flight mission; 3. Safety and high reliability.

4. Low cost from high reusability; 5. Good flight experience; 6. Commercial viability.

The project will start from small scale space plane before moving to large scale space plane, and start with sub-orbital flight before achieving orbital flight. The roadmap is high supersonic RBCC sub-orbital flight by 2025, hypersonic RBCC sub-orbital flight by 2030, and TSTO in 2035.

The aim is to achieve economical scale, safety, and multi-purpose commercial space flight.
