I feel in the future, blockchain will be used for everything from IDs, passports, personal records, and much more.  The flipside is the loss of privacy, , anonymity and personal freedom.  All one needs are facial, eye or thumb scans and it will open up a whole slew of infomation about a person.

I think the world is leaning that way like it or not.  I bet in the futre even our internet activity will be stored.  Bitcoin and other cryptos only uses blockchain to verify the authencity of the coins and nothing else.  Blockchain technology used to store personal information of a person is another story.
