Rumours of a plead deal surfaced before, and usually they say, the people who know the courts system, is that it comes from the side that is probably going to lose. Rumours of a plead deal surfaced months ago and reportedly Meng Wanzhou said no. This obviously indicates which side wants to make this deal.

The Canadian judge in this case will give her verdict on October 21, so this story is way off base. It seems this story is planted by the SCMP for the purpose of spreading disinformation. Why bring up plead deals, a clear suggestion of she is guilty, when this verdict is coming down in less than a month?

I am no lawyer, just reading the news and legal people in the newspapers, it appears that the arrest at the airport was botched, and because of that the case will be thrown out. The police and airport security were basically lying on the stand in open court. They did a few things that were basically against the law, the police did that, but the police claimed they did not know what they were doing, or it was a mistake, or they did not mean to do that. Sure, the judge will believe that.

If she is not set free next month, then Meng Wanzhou lawyers will appeal this for the next 10 years if necessary. The politicians in Canada want this whole thing to go away.
