YF100 is the booster engine of the original CZ-5. 2680 tons thrust means at lift off, about 20 YF100s(@120 tons each) are ignited during CZ-5DY liftoff. Something fishy that it says the 1st stage has 7 YF100: just how do the 2 boosters share the remainder 13 YF100s ?.

...........

OK,u're rite that the CZ-9 will use the later 500 tons kerosene/LO engine and the CZ-9b 1st stage will use 5 of them. Mind u these engines have hier specific impulse than the YF-100 and why does the CZ-9b have lower LEO load to lift-off mass ratio?
