now the relationship is purely transactional. China still need their tech, and the japs still need Chinese market. Because of this understanding, expect more skirmishes in many areas except trade. This situation won't last long, China will continue to strive for self sufficiency in tech, while japs will try to diversify the market. Which one achieve its goal first, will win this conflict. In a way, not much different than the conflict with the US, except the US is a much more difficult opponent.
