I hope Huawei work with as much partners as possible. The US is blocking Huawei from having access to popular apps like google owned apps and instagram etc. Not a problem for Chinese market, but has huge impact in other markets. What Huawei need to do is trying to work European, Asian and other Regions' app makers, helping them to develop local app champion that can replace the US ones, and maybe get a stake in them. After all, other countries also distrust the US app dominance. It will be expensive, and the gain might not be immediate, but it can help Huawei to get out from its predicament, and at the same time chipping away the US app dominance. Chinese gov should force other Chinese phone makers to ally with Huawei and pool together their resources for this endeavor, this is good for them too.
