It is no easy to just leap frog the learning curve because of the high degree of difficulty.  It takes many steps.  Eventually China will get there.  Even Intel, the premier semiconductor maker for many decades can't even out do TSMC and Samsung.

As much as I see it,  chip foundries and robotics will be the domain of East Asians in the future.  That says a lot.

India will be the sole provider of cow chips.
