And in another 20 years after 2050, the GDP per capita will be on very high with a population of less than a billion. China already invested in AI and automation to future address the shortfall in health care personnel for the elderly.  It also are ramping up automation to curb the thinning of the workforce.  I think China's next step is to allow more creativity and freedom to the younger generation as they will be the ones who will be part of the high skill, high value added workforce.  I see a Singapore-like type of governance within 20 years.

India will have in excess of 1.6 billion with food scarcity due to climate change and high unemployment.  There is no cohesive plan to address current chalIenges let alone a few decades from now. It just float with the wind.  I don't think India as it is will exist in 70 years.  Definitely will break into several pieces. Possibly, Punjab, Kashmir, Tamil Nadu, Northeast India/Sikkim and whatever left, India.
