Argentina is looking at 10 single seater and 2 double seater block 3 standard with fixed aerial refueling probe. The aircraft will be assembled and maintained in Rio Cuarto facility. Engine choices are Russian RD-93 with 8300 kg thrust (JF-17 block 2) or RD-93MD with 9300 kg thrust (JF-17 block 3). Unit price quoted for each block 3 aircraft with four air-to-air missile (two short range, two BVR) is around USD 50 million, for a total price of USD 600 million. The ejection seat will be the HTY-5D used in J-10.
