I have my doubts of it
Replying to: Uh no. Pieces that land on the ground have had their speed reduced by the air. -- Canis Majoris Post ReplyForum

being part of LM5 just as I have my doubts of it being part of the Brooklyn Bridge. Give me the evidence and I will believe it.

Almost the entrire structure of the LM5 core stage is made of Al alloy, which quickly burns up during re-entry. A long piece of pipe inside it would then be exposed to the fury of the re-entry as other pieces of debris.

For something falling through air, there is something called "trminal velocity". For an average human body, I think the terminal velocity is about 200 miles per hour. For a metallic piece in the shape of a long pipe, it should be much higher. I can't see how sizable  things falling at that speed can suffer practically no damage to itself or making large holes on the ground.

As for wesern propaganda, it is never about whether something is right or wrong but whether it can be tagged onto China or not:

Again, give me the evidence and I will believe it.
