I don't have the figures, but India must produce lots of industrial oxygen for oxyacetylene welding. I do know that the contents of O2 cylinders for welding are somewhat different from medical O2 (I don't remember why but it could have something to do with added humidity), how hard would it be to retool existing plants to produce medical oxygen? Many Indian patients would be happier if it were possible to do this quickly.
