DDG standardized on the general purpose VLS. Unlike 052C which use HQ-9 specific VLS and separate YJ-62 specific launcher for anti-ship missile, nowadays general purpose VLS house all type of missiles, from current ones to future ones. BTW 052DL is not a new class, just a 052D mod, also not an official designation.
