Quoting a view point of 宁南山, according to IMF Oct 2020 dataset, China's GDP per capita in 2020 surpassed all major developing countries such as Russia, Brazil, Turkey, Mexico, Malaysia, short of a few resource rich developing countries such as Saudi and Chile. What lies ahead in this decade are those developed countries and newly industrialized countries, i.e. NA, Europe, Japan etc. In his opinion, Eastern European countries will be caught up in this decade.
