in Beijing. Beijing doesn't really like tall building. The official who approved China Zun was reprimanded because it is too tall in Beijing, the surrounding are buildings that are too short compared to it. The top three floors open to public and tourist could be used to spy on Zhongnanhai (think China's White House) with high end telescope. CITIC Group is asked to rectify the problem. But with the capital function moving to Xiongan, I guess it won't be a problem in the future.

China Zun is the 8th tallest building in the world, but in my opinion, One World Trade Center, Taibei 101, and to certain extent Makkah Clock Tower cheated, so I regarded it as the world's 6th or 7th tallest building.
