Perhaps something was amiss with training or handling, since Californians are not well educated and someone might have misunderstood instructions. The people giving the shots are not likely to be physicians or nurses. Vaccinations from that batch have resumed. The Moderna vaccine has not been recalled or stopped at all, only that single batch was under suspicion, please do not repeat any misinformation here. The science behind the RNA vaccines is good, the problem is the logistics of requiring unusually cold storage temperatures which the major Chinese vaccines do not.
