India Today OSINT team investigated with the help of latest satellite images, presumed Google Earth. Thanks for amateurish analysis.

Let's get updated with the latest words from Pop3 (who leaked the existence of 076).

055, currently known there'll be 16 ships. Which means besides the current batch of 8, 8 more will be laid down soon.

052D/DL, new ships will apparently be the extended version. New batch will be built, no words on how many, but clearly it's not stopping.

052D, 054A

054B using the electric propulsion system, will start next year, not clear how many.

054A, additional 20 will be built, 12 in Huangpu, 8 in Hudong shipyard. My understanding is despite 054B will start next year, 20 054A will still be build. In addition to current 30 ships, the total will be brought up to 50 ships.

The new batch of 054A will be an extended version like 052DL, which means it'll carry ASW Z-20F. Also like 054AP, the AShM will be switched to YJ-12.

054A, 071

071, additional batch will be built, which means it'll go beyond the current 8 ships.

075, current batch 8 ships.

076, still undergoing planning? Looks like it's not going to appear anytime soon. Don't expect to see it next year or two.

What we know about PLAN as of late 2020, including some of the future plan (in yellow). I believe all the planned ships will be built by 2025, with more than half completed by 2022-2023. The 054B and 076 are new class with unknown number to be built in their first batch. First batch of 054B could be 2 to 8 ship, while 076 may be two ship.
