If they arrested 2 Canadians when only 1 Chinese was arrested, then that was rather loud message, which only got louder when every Canadian it seemed in a Chinese jail would up on death row. It is kind of macabre, and kind of funny, but maybe everyone kinds of expects that one day, when China Canada tensions dies down, someone will say Norman Bethune and then everybody goes home.Still, it is rather odd that the Chinese Communist Party, used to say not too long ago, "This hurts the feelings of the Chinese people."
The reason it seems they would say, "This hurts the feelings of the Chinese people," is to make the other side look abusive.
Well, in this current spat, the CCP will use its pie-hole to abuse Canadian ear-holes and butt-holes for a very extended period of time.
Why so abusive? Maybe that Trudeau is being dirty when he lectures China on rule of law in Canada, when Trudeau tries to evade it himself for domestic political gain.
Maybe that Canada is a complete fool to do this favour for the Americans. After this arrest, the United States still coerced Canada and Mexico into a re-negotiated free trade deal, and slapped on tariffs on Canadian aluminum at least twice. Canada is getting abused from both ends.
Then the Canadian public wants Trudeau to take a tougher line and continue with the extradition of Meng Wanzhou. This part makes no sense to me, because I am not a white Liberal. The white Liberals of Canada wants to stick it to Canada, so that they can feel good about themselves. Well, what about the two Micheals and the guys on death row? The white Liberal does not mention who has to take one for the team in order too feel good about themselves. If the white Liberals feel good about themselves, and the PM by extending the extradition of Meng Wanzhou make the white Liberals feel good about themselves, then Trudeau will win another election, which could be soon.
But, with the Chinese Communist Party being this abusive towards Canada, the white Liberal at least knows they in a fight and do not fell good about themselves because this fight they cannot win, they can only hope for a tie, but China already slapped hard on the farmers. That would be really funny if the CCP is being this abusive in order to prevent the white Liberal to feel good about themselves, and very sophisticated.
Then again, maybe CCP is being this abusive because US Secretary of State, Pompeo the top diplomat of the US, is just a one man propaganda machine spreading all sorts of lies and never ending threats.
So when Pompea attacks China (verbal only), CCP returns the attacks directly (verbal only) against the US and against those firmly on it side. Regardless of the reasons, no end in sight.
