and China did learn and still learn a lot of things from Singapore, like every thing you mentioned above. But not every thing that work in Singapore is applicable to China. China and Singapore have different challenges and opportunities that they each face. Singapore is small, it has few resources but on the other hand because it is small, most outsiders consider Singapore non threatening and they "allow" Singapore to grow peacefully, though some still jealous of it. China is huge, even when it is still backward, outsiders still consider it as a threat and seek to divide China at every opportunity.
