The Chinese do not have a choice, if Chinese companies want to stay in business. They have to build a complete Integrated Circuit industry, all steps in the supply chain, by themselves and have it American-free.Things will get very interesting when they move towards that goal. The closer they get, the more nervous outside players will be.
Imagine Chinese companies all along this supply chain for semiconductors. That could wipe out other non-Chinese companies.
It has got to that point, it is either you or me.
