The undersea advantage is quite obvious. Your evil commie will be out of the game sooner than the Soviet Union. How can your China fulfill your superpower dream without taking Taiwan? That is something your evil commie is not able to do without knocking out US forces. If your commi China can’t make a major military move within 5 or 10 years and take Taiwan, your evil China probably never will and just keep barking (Taiwan is part of China! Washington will quietly declare a victory in the cold war with Evil China. American intervention is guaranteed. And Taiwan will continue to receive weapons from USA and Taiwanese despise your commie deeply.  They do not even consider themselves as Chinese.  They are ashamed of that which no one can blame them. The day you evil Chinese attack your neighbors or attack Taiwan, a full scale American counter attack is a sure thing.  America will protect Japan, and Taiwan even Philippines if not it would be like ceding East Asia to Evil Commie.  That is something US can’t afford to do. America has the stealthiest submarine forces secretly cruising the world’s oceans as we speak. Many of them are in the Pacific. They are bigger, faster, quieter,  and much more powerful than the rest of the world’s submarine forces so let alone your China’s subs. By the way, your China can barely deploy a handful of any rudimentary nuclear boats. America naval forces are near Chinese water and with China limited anti submarine skills, your China can’t venture out far in time of war. Any move towards Taiwan, your amphibious transports will be intercepted and sunk rapidly. So I strong advise you to stop eating cats, dogs and bats so that you can be logical thinker.
