Western "dominance" as in Anglo dominance. Since the Brits conquered the world in the 19th century, it has been that way. When the Brits went bankrupt because of WW2 and lost most of its colonies, the 5-eyes headed by the newly industrialized US became the successor of perpetuating Anglo dominance. Post WW2 saw old powers slowly rise to its previous prominence. Once the USSR toppled, the age of global trading started and China was able to assert itself seemlessly into it. It took China until the early 21st century to be taken seriously and now has moved up the value chain and is challenging the West itself. As usual, the Anglos moved the goal post when challenged. So China definitely has to approach the Anglos with realism instead of wishful thinking. See what happend to Japan when it challenged the West economically in the 80s and 90s? Now it is just a decaying economy with high GDP/Debt ratio.
I have met many non-Anglo Europeans and most of them are not that inculturated in Anglo-supremism. Any "racism" you see from them are different, It is mostly tribalism. Similar to the kind the Hans feel towards non-Hans but not deep seated racial superiority the Anglos have after centuries of dominance clouded their reality of the world.
Haivng said that, it is the Left in the US you have to watch out as they are actually the purveyor of Anglo-supremism under the guise of inclusivity and multi-culturialism. They are the one who will co-op the "people of color" into believing that they are fighting for their rights when in fact they are just controlling them and making them helpless to the charity of Anglo "generosity". The crumbs they get are enough to keep them happy but never enough to put them in position of overtaking Anglo supremism. China or East Asians in general, have always been a threat whether they are living in the West or in Asia. They don't buy the BS dessiminated by the those Anglos. We do not need hand-outs and generally outperfrom the Anglos. And that is a threat. We are even seen a threats to change their cultural narrative to a point that people like us are kept out of the mainstream media and delegated to the periphery of tokenism just to satisfy the PC police.
The right has always been more aggressive and to the point and it may come out as pure racism but they are reacting to potentially losing their economic dominance to another economy. I have never sense the Right as Anglo-supremists but rather Realists themselves out to protect what they think should be theirs.
At the end of the day, I prefer the Right as they come out right and say the obvious while the Left would just play the White savior hiding behind Inclusivity and Multiculturalism.
