Most 3rd worlders exhibit insecurity/inferiority complex when compared to developed countries.

I'm no psychologist but over the years, I observe that feeling of inferiority can manifest in 2 ways:

I)One feels bad but keep quiet or still better, tries to improve:

example 1: A poorly endowed young school girl A feels bad when compared to the haute belle B in the same class. However she keeps quiet and put her attention to her studies.

exampe 2: The majority of consumers of 3rdworld country C assume a product made in their country is inferior to a similar product made in another,say developed, country D before testing the product. Yes, inferiority complex but still that's based on the consumers' past experience. The producer of that product in country C sure feels bad but it should try to improve.

II)One feels agitated and seek mental armoury to hide the original image or  project a different image.

example 1a: Girl A in the example 1 above put on padded bra and cosmetics to go to class and accuse the beauty of girl B the result of plastic surgery; and says she will soon partake in a local beauty pageant.

example 3: A man of 3rd world origin tries to dig up what he calls 'golden age' of his civilisation/religion, claim his gods/prophet/saints once travellled to Mars riding a spaceship/magical animal, his ancestors once discovered Atlantis...

Conclusion:

[An opioid is a substance that's a) a pain killer b)a stimulant c)addictive. Overdose result in psychosis.]

1) 'Nationalist pride' is a mental opioid

2) Who have the least amount of 'inferiority complex'? Precisely those who admit they've it.

Further examples: Ashkenaz jews are said to have the highest IQ(pushed by social darwinist pressure in diaspora) but they hardly brag about it; I haven't met one who did, have you? Honestly there's no need for them to brag.
