Last few years, we have witness first hand ourselves with our own eyes and process this with our own brains the following:-

- the Asian Infrastructure & Investment Bank
- the Belt Road Initiative
- the acceptance of Huawei 5G gear worldwide
- scientific co-operation between China and Europe on space projects

All of these efforts was strongly objected to by the United States and like minded people around the world.

The objections mainly were ideological but rather tinged with the Yellow Peril Theory. In practise, it is really hard to tell the difference.

As long it is not white, then it is no good, that is what the Americans were saying. That is just the same Yellow Peril theory.

Well, how did all of those AIIB, BRI, Huawei 5G, space projects, how did all of that come to be? Too much disbelief in some English speaking circles.

I think it is pretty simple. The way to beat the Yellow Peril theory, just offer a better deal.

That's all China did. Here's the deal ... you want it?

That's what happened IMHO. The deals were just too good to pass up.

Now what I believe will happen next, is China's rise is unstoppable.

China's rise was always going to be unstoppable in a sense, but at this juncture, the deals will get even better.

With the world's fastest growing major economy, soon to be the largest, with top of the line tech at good prices, China deals will accelerate. Besides being unstoppable, it will now accelerate away from many competitors. Hence, China influence will follow, it automatically will have a bigger say.

This time, with the British decision on Huawei 5G yesterday, and today's EU decision about Huawei 5G, all the Chinese company did was say, here's the deal. The whole world approved.

It did not matter at all what the Americans had to say in response.
