It's obvious that the US intentions toward the Islamic Republic have from day one been regime change. The Democrats are no different than the Republicans in this regard, they all wish to take out Iran. But for a sitting congressman like Alexandris Ocasio-Cortez to make statements condemning Trump's killing of Soleimani is certainly unprecedented. I'm not saying that the Democrats actually have any sympathy for Soleimani, but that they at least publicly have more antipathy for Trump than for a general of a country that has been in semi-open conflict with the US for longer than AOC has been alive.
