which is strange, since Z-20 might be a good platform for this and it could be deployed from 075. In addition to the USN, the Soviet navy used helicopters based on either the Moskva or Leningrad (don't remember which) to clear mines from the Suez canal. A dedicated vessel, perhaps based on an enlarged C28 frigate or even a Type 054, could carry a minesweeping helicopter and a couple of minehunting drones (and cranes and other handling equipment), and also lay mines and support smaller mine warfare ships like the old Type 918 did. A modified frigate hull could be build quickly and cheaply, and would not need any armaments beyond a 76mm gun, an FL-3000 launcher and CIWS for air defence, and a few machine guns.
