I wonder if this integration was performed with Russian assistance or not. Last time when PLAN kilo was lengthened to accommodate AIP, they considered sending it back to Russia for the mod, or hire Russian assistance to do it locally, in the end they do it entirely by themselves. Similar major modifications have been done to Sovernmeny.
