selecting F-16V or Gripen JAS-39. China actually proposed to sell them J-10C which is perfect for their limited budget because J-10C is a lot cheaper than those of F-16V and Gripen anyway. However, Thailand is worried about getting tariffs increased threatening by Donald Trump if it opts for Chinese fighter jets.
